- The closest train station to Belfast City Airport is Sydenham. Trains depart from Sydenham station to Bangor every 30 minutes. It is an 11 minute walk from the airport. Exit the airport site, turn right and walk along the dual carriageway pavement to the railway footbridge.
- There are no ticket machines on the platform at Sydenham station. Pay the conductor for your ticket when you are on the train.

By Train
There is a regular train service between Belfast and Bangor, and this connects with the main train service to Dublin. The train journey between Dublin Connolly and Belfast Lanyon Place takes just over two hours.
